Description
SCOPE: Provide all labor, equipment and materials for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the systems hardware and software included for t one Carto 3 system herein located in the Cath Lab area of the VA Caribbean Healthcare System for the period of June 01, 2020 thru May 31, 2021 and four years option period. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Perform all inspections and maintenance services in accordance to manufacturer s service manual instructions and procedures. Preventive Maintenance will be in the month of November, unless a major repair is needed, and the equipment needs the preventive maintenance following the manufacturer's recommendations. Thorough inspection of equipment to detect defective components capable of adversely affecting system performance. Replacement of parts found defective during inspections. Contractor will repair or replace the system component with equal or superior functioning equipment or software with respect to any part of the system that is not properly functioning Cleaning, calibration and adjustment of components to maintain equipment within manufacturer s specifications, level of performance and accuracy. Operational tests after each corrective and preventive maintenance service to assure level of performance is within specifications. Contractor shall perform one (1) preventive maintenance services in the month of November to the system per year in accordance with manufacturer s recommendations and procedures. If updates to manufacturer s requirements and/or recommendations occur, contractor must assure compliance with these requirements. Contractor will provide and install any software update, patches and enhancement intended to update system software version or correct software errors and deficiencies. Contractor shall supply all labor, parts, test instruments, tools, hardware and software required to perform all maintenance and repair work. Prime Vendor and technicians must be certified in order to work with this high-tech equipment. Contract Administration: The contractor shall establish processes and assign appropriate resources to effectively administer the requirement. The contractor shall respond to Government requests for contractual actions in a timely fashion. The contractor shall have a single point of contact between the Government and Contractor personnel assigned to support contract. The contractor shall assign work effort and maintaining proper and accurate time keeping records of personnel assigned to work on the requirement. DESCRIPTION: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Only. This Request for Information (RFI) is intended for information and planning purposes only at this time; and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. This Request for Information is intended for Socio-economic groups: Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business, Veterans Owned Small Business, Women Owned Small Business and Small Business and Large Business. Because this is a Request for Information announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. No solicitation exists. Therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs Service Area Office East/Network Contracting Office 8, San Juan, Puerto Rico Services Team, is conducting market research to identify potential sources with the intention to award Service Contract. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, phone number, fax number and point of contact e-mail, DUNS Number, Cage Code, size of business pursuant to North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS). NAICS Code is 811219. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 10:00am Eastern Standard Time (EST) on May 13, 2020. This notice will help the VA in determining available potential sources only. Do not contact VA Medical Center staff in regard to this requirement, as they are not authorized to discuss this matter related to this procurement action, all questions will be addressed during the solicitation stage by the Contract Specialist. All firms responding to this Request for Information are advised that their response is not a request for proposal therefore will not be considered for a contract award.
