- PROPELLER AND WAKE-ADAPTED RUDDER PROTOTYPE MANUFACTURE This is a MARKET SURVEY / SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research). This is not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. REQUIREMENT:� The Surface Forces Logistics Center, Patrol Boat Product Line, has a requirement for the design, construction drawings, fabrication method(s), and upon KO approval, fabricate four rudder assemblies (two port, two starboard) and two propeller sets (two pairs of right- and left-handed propellers � four propellers, total), for prototype testing.� This description sets forth the requirements for the PROPELLER AND WAKE-ADAPTED RUDDER PROTOTYPE MANUFACTURE in accordance with the attached SPECIFICATION FOR PROPELLER AND WAKE-ADAPTED RUDDER PROTOTYPE MANUFACTURE.� The anticipated NAICS Code is 332999 Propellers, ship and boat, made from purchased metal. Period of Performance: �It is anticipated that one firm, fixed-price, requirements contract for five (5), one (1) year ordering periods will be awarded for this requirement. Submission of Information:� If you intend to submit information / documentation on this acquisition, please respond e-mail by 15 May 2020 at 4:00 PM EST to: Jennifer.b.lucas@uscg.mil The following information / documentation must be included in your response: a positive statement of your intention to submit a quote for this solicitation as a prime contractor, to include:� Name of Company, Address, DUNS Number, Point of Contact and Phone Number, Business Size for the applicable NAICS Code and, if applicable, your Small Business Status along with a copy of the Certificate from the Small Business Administration (SBA) certifying the company�s small business status, and; (b) �evidence of experience in supplying the required items to include:� Contract Numbers, Project Titles and Dollar Amounts, Points of Contact and Telephone Numbers. �At least two references are requested, but more are desirable.
