- Description
- The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center, (ERDC) at Vicksburg, Mississippi, is issuing this notice of Intent to Award Sole Source. This is not a request for proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to pay for costs incurred from preparation and/or submission of data in response to this notice. The Government intends to modify contract number W912HZ19C0043 with High Performance Solutions. The scope of this contract includes inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of the overhead cranes at ERDC, Vicksburg, MS. The work includes corrective and preventive maintenance, minor maintenance and repair, report preparation and other services. During performance of maintenance services, major deficiencies were discovered that exceeded the current capacity of the contract. The modification is needed to perform the required repairs and load test on cranes to bring them up to safety and code standards. This modification will be issued on a sole source basis. This North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance.
