- Description
- The Air Force requires each installation to maintain an Installation Development Plan. With mission expansion on the horizon, a long-range transportation plan at Eielson AFB is prudent to manage the existing transportation infrastructure as well as plan for current and future safety, access, and capacity needs.A-E planning services shall include activities such as participation in the Preliminary Project meeting and submission of meeting minutes, the planning, study, field reconnaissance, site survey and investigation, and work required to obtain the information and data necessary for the accomplishment of this contract. The A-E shall prepare documents showing existing conditions; conduct traffic data collection and evaluation; collect and review project data and records; develop transportation alternatives; estimates of construction cost and construction timelines; a project programming planning study based on project programming requirements of AFI 32-1032 and the UFCs referenced.
