Description

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. This is non-personnel services contract. It is to provide for Hanel lift Vertical Storage System to be disassembled, crated and stored, for future use. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440), hereby provides notice of its intent to find sources for a firm fixed contract. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR part 12 � Acquisition of Commercial items and 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance shall be 07/22/20 through 08/31/20. CLIN 0001 � Disassembly CLIN 0002 � Crating The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and� other items and non-personal services necessary to perform onsite services for break down, crating and removal �of 10 Hanel Vertical Storage System in the CIA area. Disassembling, crating, moving shall be completed as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.� The contractor shall perform to the required standards. NAICS code: 811310-- Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance (SBA Size Standard $8 Million) PCS � J036 - Maintenance, repair and rebuilding of equipment: special industry machinery THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest, a quote, and capabilities to respond to this requirement no later than May 13, 2020 12 PM, PST. Questions must be submitted no later than May 12, 2020 12 PM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR Sargent Hydraulic Valve Repair and Maintenance Training in the subject line. Documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Specialist, Angela Charpia via email at angela.charpia@navy.mil or to Contracting Officer Ianthe Stevens-Ford at ianthe.stevens-ford @navy.mil. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
