THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. A SUBSEQUENT SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT MAY FOLLOW. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS AN ADEQUATE RESPONSE TO ANY FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENT. The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks a Provider/Offeror to: Provide ""Snow Removal Services"" at the US Post Office and US Courthouse, 200 W. Washington St., Marquette, MI 49855. The contractor shall provide the management, supervision, manpower, equipment (including heavy equipment and snow shovels) and supplies necessary to provide plowing and removal of snow and ice from within the fenced in alleyway and approach from the. The services to be provided under this contract shall be accomplished at the building(s) listed below: Location: US Post Office and US Courthouse, 200 W. Washington St., Marquette, MI� 49855 Area to be cleared � Fenced in Alleyway Approximately 3,525 SF (to be verified by the contractor). The Contractor shall be responsible for performing all work under this contract in accordance with all Federal, State, County, and City laws, and codes, and follow the more stringent of them. In addition to compliance with these laws, the Contractor shall follow all applicable standard industry practices including, but not limited to OSHA.� THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. It is the intent that any subsequent solicitation issued will result in the award of a contract, which represents the best value to the Government, technical and price factors considered. It is expected the subject requirement will be five (5) years in length, including options. The base period for services is 6 months. There 4 option periods that are also 6 months in duration. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
