- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, intends to enter into a sole source procurement for a (Acustaf Nurse Scheduling Software) for the Huntington VA Medical Center (581), 1540 Spring Valley Dr, Huntington, West Virginia 25404. In accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5), 38 U.S.C. 8127(b), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute), and under the authority of VAAR 819.7008, Sole Source Awards to a Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Company Name: Acustaf Development Corporation Address: 7900 international drive, suite 710, Bloomington, MN 55425 Phone: (952)831-4122 . The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is (541519) and the Business Size Standard is (150) employees. It is the Government s belief that the (The Acustaf Software is currently used by the facility. It meets the requirements in the statement of work. Competition of this requirement would cause great delay and additional costs to the government in the form of designing, installing and implementing a new system, testing, and staff training. Patient care would be negatively impacted.) at the Huntington VAMC. The estimated base value of this acquisition is approximately ($53K). The estimated award date is on or before 7/14/2020 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time, (1600), (5/28/2020). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
