- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency Energy anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal�(RFP/Solicitation) Government �Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) for remote�jet fuel storage area consisting of the tankage to receive, hold, and issue F-24 to a�downstream fillstand located near the flightline at Naval Air Station Meridian,�Mississippi. Services include receiving, maintaining, storing, sample and testing,�internally transferring, and issuing petroleum products. The contractor must be responsible for all fuel-servicing operations and safeguarding facilities, equipment,�and fuel products under its control during normal and adverse conditions. The�NAS Meridian bulk fuel facility is a widespread system of tanks and components�interconnected by pipeline and operated by a workforce consisting of contracting�personnel.
