In accordance with Solicitation 36C24420Q0558, below are the Governments answers to Vendor provided questions that have been received by the Government on or before 11:00 AM EST on 05/13/2020. Not Applicable Are there current employees filling this position that might intend on remaining with a new contractor? Not Applicable Of the anticipated 13 Medical Support Assistants and 2 Coordination, Program Planning & Advisory Services, how many positions are anticipated for each location? Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center = 14 Camden CBOC = 0 Gloucester CBOC = 0 Horsham CBOC = 0 Burlington CBOC = 0 West Philadelphia CBOC = 1 There are six performance locations, 3 in PA and 3 in NJ. Will a Wage Determination be provided for NJ as well and will the pricing sheet be broken out by location since the rates may vary? Corporal Michael J. See Question 4 According to the dress code, employees should request uniforms or uniform allowances through their Service Chief, in accordance with VHA Handbook 1850.4 , Appendix A of VHA Handbook 1850.4 states nursing assistants will be issued uniforms/scrubs. Will the medical assistants be issued uniforms/scrubs, if not are they required to be worn and provided by the contractor?� No, they won t be issued uniforms/scrubs. Contractor would just need to follow the dress code for staff who don t wear scrubs. Can you please tell me the staffing levels by clinic, per shift, and day of the week? This is an emergent contractual need to fill a needed upstaffing due to COVID-19 What is the plan for services after the contract period is expired? If the need is required past the expiration date, The Department of Veterans Affairs will evaluate all possible solutions and base a determination at that time. Our experience with the VAMC is that security can take months to process. How fast to you think the interim clearance will take to process? Because of this COVID-19 period and the need for this emergent contract, the VA Security Center (VSC) has been expediting security clearances. I can t give exact timeframes, but they have been relatively quick. The RFQ states: Upon award of contract, Contractor will receive information on and will have candidates complete online trainings for HIPAA, Privacy, Confidentiality, and Information Security before the candidates come on board. Is this training billable? No The SOW calls for 13 Medical Support Assistants. Is this per shift or in total? Total How many staff are scheduled each day, considering the 7-day work week? See #8 How many individuals are required on the evening and night shift? See #8 What are the staffing levels on holidays? See #8 The NAICS code on the RFP listed is as 561110. Is this RFP open to staffing companies or will the positions be sourced through�another manner? Open I would like to confirm�the submittal date is May 19, 2020 11:00 am EST.� All quotations shall be sent via email to Bradley Fasnacht, Contract Specialist, Bradley.Fasnacht2@va.gov Submission shall be received not later than 11:00AM EST on 05/19/2020. Late submissions shall be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(f). Only e-mailed quotes will be accepted. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure the Government s timely receipt of their quote.
