Amendment No. 1 - The hour and date specified for receipt of offers is being extended to 4:30 PM EST on Friday, April 10, 2020.� Offerors should acknowledge receipt of the attached�Amendment No. 1.� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Janitorial Services for the Supervisor�s Office of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Winchester, Kentucky.� �The contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and incidentals, except as listed under Government-Furnished Property in accordance with the schedule of items, specifications, attachments, terms and conditions of the contract.� There is a Base Period with up to Two Option Years, if exercised and needed, as well as one Additional Item if needed.� This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation is issued under Solicitation No. 12531A20Q0004 and the solicitation is attached to this notice as an attachment. SITE VISIT No formal site showing is scheduled for this project.� Please contact Sharon Martin at (859) 745-3131 or email at sharon.martin@usda.gov to schedule an appointment to look at the site prior to submitting a quote for this project. Any questions should be submitted via email to�sharon.martin@usda.gov �Offerors are encouraged to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that information is reasonably obtainable.� Failure to inspect the site prior to any contract award will not later be deemed as the basis for any claim. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns.� If interested, please refer to Pages 5-6, Important Notice to Offerors, to see what needs to be completed and returned with your Offer.� Offers are due by 4:30 PM EST on Friday, March 27, 2020. All interested firms are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required to be eligible for award of a contract. For more information, please check the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.� Registration in SAM is free. The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
