- Description
- The New York District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) hereby issues�plans and specifications for the construction of a new Golf Club House. This procurement is being solicited under 100% Full and Open Competition. The apparent low bidder will be required to submit a subcontracting plan upon request by the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. The business size standard is $39,500,000.00 The scope of work includes the following and incidental related work. Construction of a Golf Club House approximately (12,500 SF) consisting of a single floor layout. The single floor shall consist of a main entrance with vestibule/lobby leading into the main banquet hall (for 150 patrons). To the left will be a snack bar and seating (for 50 patrons), combined kitchen, fire suppression systems throughout the facility, walk-in cooler/freezer. To the right will be pro-shop retail area, merchandise and program storage, men's and women's restrooms, receiving/loading area, communications and mechanical/electrical rooms, and golf club and general storage. Supporting facilities include: transformer and secondary service, water, sewer & gas, parking striped for 100 standard parking spaces and 4 handicapped spaces, walks, curbs & gutters; security/lighting system; communications (phones & computers); alarm system (Monaco); public address system; landscaping; heating and air condition system; site improvements. Provisions for the handicapped (ADA) will be provided. An Environmental Assessment was conducted to determine the extent and required mitigation of any environmental impacts of this project. �Any and all amendments shall be posted to beta.sam. Hard copies will not be available. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the SAM web-site for any amendments. Bidders/Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (see�www.ccr.gov). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 for Commercial & Institutional Building Construction. The magnitude of this construction is estimated to cost between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic USACE NYD will be conducting bid openings electronically.� A Bidder must submit bids to the following files transfer site�https://safe.apps.mil/. � All questions must be submitted in writing via email to�Orlando.Nieves@usace.army.mil The media selected for issuance of Synopsis/Solicitation and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, the media utilized for this project shall be the internet. Telephone, email or fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted or honored. Paper copies of this solicitation and amendments, if any, will not be available or issued.
