- Invitation for Bids�W912C320B0003 receipt date and time�5 May 2020; 10:00 am and Opening of bids date and time�5 May 2020; 11:00 am local PR time.�� � As previously indicated, due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to meet the challenges associated with social distancing, MICC Fort Buchanan transitioned from an in-person bid opening to telephone Conferencing (telecom).� Bid opening was held via telephone conference. See abstract posted on this synopsis. AMENDMENT 0005 - Due to the COVID-19 Situation, waiver of the requirement to obtain a bid guarantee (FAR 52.228-1, Bid Guarantee) in accordance with FAR 28.101-1(c) is made.� Therefore, a bid guarantee will not be required to be submitted with Invitation for Bids W912C320B0003. However, it will not exempt the Contractor, once awarded, from submitting Performance and Payment bonds at the Task Order level IAW FAR 28. The date and time for receipt of bids remains unchanged.� All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. AMENDMENT 0004 - Has been issued to incorporate Instructions to Bidders that affect the receipt of bids, bid opening and bid bond submission. The date and time for receipt of bids is changed to 5 May 2020; 10:00 am local Puerto Rico time. AMENDMENT 0003 - Has been issued�to extend the date and time of the bid opening to 29 April 2020; 10:00 am local PR time. AMENDMENT 0002 -�Has been issued to extend the date and time for receipt of bids to 15 April 2020; 10:00 am local PR time AMENDMENT 0001 - Has been issued. It has various information and attachment. Important. Ensure you review all amendments. Submit copy of signed amendment with your bid The Solicitation is hereby issued. Attached is the Solicitation, Schedule of Prices for the Base and each Option Period, Drawings.� Note: Please read the entire solicitation carefully. Ensure you comply with all required. Bidders shall ensure their SAM registration and 8(a) Certifications are up to date. Ensure you�complete bid schedule in the solicitation and each Schedule of Prices for the Base, First, Second, Third and Fourth Options.� The total prices in Attachment 1, Schedule of Prices need to match to those submitted for the Base and each Option Period in the solicitation. Ensure you submit your bid bond and can comply with the requirement and Performance and Payment bonds. �If there are any amendments ensure you sign (each) and submit with your bid. Ensure your individual bids�are balanced. Failure to comply with all in the solicitation may render your bid non-responsive. Failure to ensure your bid is received at the place and location indicated in the solicitation (or as amended) may render your bid ""late"" and not eligible for further consideration. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a pre-solicitation notice. �The Mission & Installation Contracting Command MICC- Fort Buchanan has an Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. W912C320B0003 for Repair and Installation of Fences at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. A Firm Fixed-Price Contract will be awarded from this requirement. The IFB will be issued on or about 31 January 2020. The IFB is issued as 100% 8(a) set-aside on a Competitive basis for Puerto Rico and US. Virgin Islands only. All responsible sources are invited to submit bids under this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. The size standard is $16,500,000. The magnitude of this requirement is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000. Hard copies of the IFB will not be available. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Beta.sam.gov website at https://beta.sam.gov/search?keywords=&sort=-modifiedDate&index=opp&is_active=true&page=1 for status of IFB and amendments, if any. Any amendments issued will need to be sign and submitted with the bid. Failure to submit amendments with the bid may render the bid not eligible for further consideration for award. The solicitation will be issued as a�Single Task�Order requirement for a Base Year and Four Option years, if exercised by the Government. All work is to be completed by the date stated on each individual Delivery Order issued. Performance and payment bonds are required. A bid guarantee in the amount of 20% of the bid price is also required. All hand delivered bids shall include a CD/DVD with identical information to the hard copy version. It is the bidder's responsibility that bid submitted, regardless of method of transmission, is received in the office designated for receipt prior to the date and time for receipt of bids. Late bids will be processed in accordance with regulation. Fort Buchanan Installation Access.
