Description
This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) for a base and three (3) twelve month option periods to REES Scientific Corporation,1007 Whitehead Rd. Ext., Trenton, NJ 08638, on a sole source basis to procure Environmental Monitoring System Calibration Services and add-ins as needed.� The NIH CC Pharmacy Department requires continuous monitoring of medication storage conditions and environmental conditions within the following pharmacy facilities: inpatient areas, outpatient areas, non-sterile compounding and sterile compounding suites for both hazardous and non-hazardous activities, expanded intravenous admixture unit, pharmacy designated storage units, analytical unit and the clinical pharmacokinetic research laboratory.� Monitoring includes room temperature, room humidity, refrigeration temperature, freezer temperature, incubator temperatures and differential pressure. The REES system is currently in place and up-to date with warranty and service.� No other service providers are authorized by the manufacturer to perform calibration or installation services within the existing system in the Pharmacy Department, NIH Clinical Center. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12 in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements in FAR Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Lisa Schaupp, Contract Specialist, Lisa.Schaupp@nih.gov, by the due date and time marked in this notice.
