- Description
- The ALCF is pursuing a storage system with a high level of performance to meet the demands of diverse exascale computing, including simulation, machine-learning and deep-learning workloads.�� The solution should deliver a means for data lifecycle management across a single or multiple storage tiers, a usable capacity of ~230PB, and a bandwidth of at least ~ 25 TB/s.� The ALCF is interested in a single fast tier of storage for this solution, but is also interested in seeing any options that would satisfy our requirements, including those that are built on multiple storage tiers.�� The storage system should support connectivity to Linux based OS platforms.� Your response should provide detailed explanations and architectural diagrams describing how this will be accomplished.� The response must detail what can be delivered by a 1Q2022 delivery target.
