- UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (USDOT) OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY (OST) OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL (OIG) Synopsis for Solicitation 693JK420Q700003 Audit Maintenance Services for TeamMates Introduction: The Office of the Secretary (OST), Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is an agency of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The U.S. Department of Transportation Office of Inspector General (DOT-OIG) conducts audits and investigations on behalf of the American public to improve the performance and integrity of DOT�s programs to ensure a safe, efficient, and effective national transportation system.� To achieve DOT-OIG�s Office of Audit Operations & Special Reviews objectives, the goal is to assist the TeamMate office with troubleshooting and any upgrades during the contract period for 200 users. This synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.203(a), issues a 15-day public notification prior to the issuance of a sole-source solicitation 693JK420Q700003.� Scope of Work The contractor shall provide technical support and troubleshooting for the TeamMates system. The NAICS Code for this Purchase Order is 511210 with a size standard of $41.5M.� Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database located at www.sam.gov to be considered for Purchase Order award.� It is the Government�s intent to award a Firm Fixed Fee type Purchase Order resulting from the solicitation, with or without discussions.� It is the offeror�s responsibility to monitor www.Beta.Sam.gov Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any) and download the documents.� The estimated release date of the solicitation is on or about May 29, 2020.� The duration of the anticipated award is 12 months �� �� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS.� This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.� Potential sources who believe they can provide the services listed above are invited to submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact. �Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. The anticipated award date is June 8, 2020.
