- The USDA Forest Service (FS) anticipates the occasional need for�emergency Mobile Food Services during the remainder of the 2020 calendar year, wildland fire season. The intent of this Special Notice is to provide a� draft specification for Emergency Equipment Rental Agreements (EERA) planned for emergency mobile food requirements at various field locations during wildland fire in the contiguous western United States.�This draft specification is for industry to review and for the FS�to solicit questions or comments. Due to new COVID-19 challenges with performance of this type of an effort, a temporary section has been added to the draft specification (Section D.1.0) to address contemplated changes to the draft EERA�specification. The EERA specification is based�primarily on the latest National Mobile Food Services solicitation. This special notice references the current ongoing solicitation for the National Mobile Food Services (12024B19R9001) as these contemplated changes, outlined in Section D.1.0 of this draft, could potentially be utilized in the performance of the National Mobile Food Services contracts. Interested parties for both the EERA mobile food opportunities and the National Mobile Food Services are encouraged to review the draft solicitation in this Special Notice�and provide their��feedback.� This is not a request for offers at this time only a request for questions or concerns�on the draft solicitation. Responses are due by email to Larry.Robillard@USDA.gov, no later than 12:00 PM Mountain Time on Thursday, 21 May.
