- Regional Procurement Office (RPO) - East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Atcor Medical Inc. (USA), 184 Shuman Blvd., Ste. 515, Naperville, IL 60563-7709, to purchase a SphygmoCor XCEL Vascular Imaging System for the Atlanta VA Health Care System. Investigators at the Center for Visual and Neurocognitive Rehabilitation (CVNR) need the vascular imaging equipment to explore the impact of arterial stiffness, central pressure, and augmentation index scores in a range of populations that are studied in the Center. The following equipment will be purchased: ITEM INFORMATION ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT 0001 Vascular Imaging System and accessories STOCK NUMBER: M23-A00-E4C-T3C-R00 1.00 UN 0002 PWV Cuff - XL STOCK NUMBER: 1-00898 1.00 EA 0003 Calibration Kit STOCK NUMBER: CK-01 1.00 EA 0004 Notebook computer and specialized software for scientific computing STOCK NUMBER: N-01 1.00 EA 0005 XCL Cuff Storage Tray STOCK NUMBER: 1-00896 1.00 EA 0006 Hardware and software maintenance 1.00 EA SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: System must take measurements of a patient s Central Aortic blood pressure and calculate augmentation index (AI) System must measure carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity (cf-PWV) System must be safe and non-invasive, and measurements should be produced rapidly to minimize any discomfort to patients System must provide accurate, reliable, and reproducible measurements, with minimal inter-rater error System must be FDA-approved, ensuring that it has undergone rigorous testing for safety, reliability, and is approved for the required functions This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
