- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground � Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities and Development Command (CCDC), Fiber Project Team intends to procure on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, color concentrates and compounds used in the extrusion of polymeric materials form for a specific end product based on other government agency (OGA) requirements.� The specific concentrates and compunds use proprietary dye: pigment formulas and components that are only know to the vendor. Clariant Plastics & Coating USA LLC. located at 85 Industrial Dr. Holden, MA is the only known source that provides the proprietary dye. �A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be issued. This is not a request for quotes. No solicitation package is available. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336199.
