- Description
- The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to competitively award a Historical Underutilized Business (HUB) Zone set-aside Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Competitive Five Year Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for the production, and/or refurbishment and/or �retrofitting of Metal Weapons Containers. �This is an update to the pre-solicitation noticed published 10 February 2020 and the pre-solicitation notice �posted under the Solicitation Number: PID #: N00019-22-RFPREQ-PMA-201-0007, Title: Metal Weapons Containers including Miniature Air Launch Decoy-Navy (MALD-N) Containers and Twin Lug Laser Guided Training Rounds (TLLGTR) Containers published 31 January 2020.�� ����������� Interested HUB zone firms may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement.��NAVAIR intends to issue a DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) by 19 May 2020 to HUB Zone firms who have responded to this or previous notices.� The DRAFT RFP will be sent directly through DOD Safe.� The purpose of issuing this DRAFT RFP is to receive comments/questions from interested HUB vendors.� Comments/questions in response to the draft RFP shall be sent to Marianne.Wild@navy.mil no later than 5:00 eastern time 2 June 2020. NAVAIR intends to issue the final RFP on or before the end of the third quarter of FY 20 (30 June 2020). The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to proceed with a HUB competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� The Government will not pay for any responses received.� There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.� Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract.� No telephone responses will be accepted.
