Description

The following solicitation topic is included in the AFTAC Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO), via amendment 0001 only, as a means to solicit innovative Geophysical Field Systems (GFS) technology replacement approaches as outlined in this amendment.��AFTAC-009, GFS Technology Refresh: AFTAC seeks to identify new and innovative capabilities and technological advancements for the replacement of obsolete GFS seismometers and data acquisition system currently operating at 31 locations around the world. AFTAC intends to award a five-year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with an ordering ceiling of $10 million (USD). Topic AFTAC-009 stands alone as a limited-time call for both technical and cost solutions, and it has unique terms, conditions, and processes that are detailed within this amendment. Industry partners are invited to consider responding to this amended CSO call for innovative technical and cost information related to AFTAC�s specialized requirement for GFS Technology Refresh in accordance with the directions contained herein. Responses to this amended CSO call shall contain both technical and cost proposals. This is a deviation from the two-step approach described in section 5 of the basic AFTAC CSO. This is not a call for white papers. Interested parties must submit a complete technical and cost proposal. If there are any questions pertaining to the subject Amendment� please submit to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist via email, the deadline for questions is 4 pm EST on 27 May 2020.
