Synopsis � J&A for Other than Full and Open Competition & Request for Information (RFI) � Class Code: K066 � NAICS Code:� 334519�Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing � Subject:� NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE � Data Acquisition and Control System for Vehicle Innovative Powertrain Experimental Research (VIPER) Facility � Solicitation Number: W911QX-20-Q-0128 � Set-Aside Code: __NA__________ � Response Date: 15 days from date of publication. � Place of Performance:� US Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground � Vehicle Technology Directorate Building 4603 Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 � Description:� The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a), (including brand name acquisitions) based on compatibility requirement, proprietary nature of components and software integration, and experimental continuity. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Vieletech, Inc. located at 913 Splendor Pt., Florissant, CO 80816, CC: 7VWH4, for: Integration and development of a data acquisition control system; and LabView software package modified for Government use, that is compatible with existing components. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, this notice does function as a Request for Information (RFI) for offeror�s who believe they can meet the Government�s requirement (see Section 9 below). Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. �A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� 9. Requirement: The Contractor shall provide a state-of-the-art DAC system with one (1) LabVIEW based application controllers to perform real time data acquisition and physics analysis that is fully integrated with existing equipment and sensors at the Vehicle Technology Directorate of the Army Research Laboratory in Building 4603, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. Contractor shall provide all necessary hardware. Contractor shall provide LabVIEW and all software related requirements. Contractor shall integrate all hardware and software systems and successfully commission all required elements.
