- Solicitation 47PF0020R0049 Trash Removal and Recycling Services Battle Creek, MI Provide ""Trash Removal and Recycling Services"" at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center, 74 N. Washington Avenue, Battle Creek, MI 49037.� This project includes, but is not limited to, providing performance based Trash Removal and Recycling Services for a building with a population of approximately 1,400 tenants and 200 daily visitors. The contractor will provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified. All equipment shall be operated and/or maintained at the highest levels of efficiency compatible with the current energy conservation requirements, nationally recognized codes, and standards, and maintained at an acceptable level, throughout the contract performance period. The performance period for this requirement is a one year base with four (4) one-year options. The estimated start date is December 1, 2020. The contractor shall be responsible for performing all work under this contract in accordance with Federal, State, County, City laws and codes, and follow the more stringent of them. In addition to compliance with these laws, the Contractor shall follow all applicable standard industry practices, including but not limited to: Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA). The resulting solicitation for these services will be procured under North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 562111. This procurement will be conducted as a total small business set-aside. This is a negotiated, best value procurement. Proposals will be evaluated on price and non-price factors. The solicitation will be available on or about Monday, June 1, 2020. The actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for download through the Beta.SAM.gov website. All interested vendors must be registered with this website, as well as the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.beta.sam.gov ) in order to download the solicitation and amendments. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring BetaSAM for amendments and/or additional information. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The current contractor is VMX International, LLC, located in Detroit, MI. The current monthly price is $1,368.64. Because these specifications are performance based, it is the responsibility of the offeror to review the entire solicitation and base their proposal on the forthcoming solicitation.
