- Description
- Local Drayage Service: Non-personal services for the Furnishings Management Section for Spangdahlem Air Base and Geographically Separated Units (GSUs) to provide all personnel, equipment, power tools, all types of licenses and permits, materials, supervision, supplies, services, and transportation necessary to deliver, pick-up and exchange Government owned furnishings, including loading/unloading of trucks, assemble/disassemble furniture as required. Contractor must be in possession of a ""Certificate of Authorization to Transport Goods on the Roads of Germany (Gueterkraftverkehrsgenehmigung). Contractor shall provide two enclosed vehicles, minimum loading height of 238 cm. A delivery team shall consist of one crew chief (driver) and two porters. Contractor shall provide minimum one enclosed vehicle with up to 90 cubic meter (cbm) capacity, minimum loading capacity of 25 cbm, daily. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Requirements type contract with one basic and four option years.
