- Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s) Funds are not presently availab le for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Overview of Solicitation: This posting is an Invitation for Bids. Respondees are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this solicitation; all costs associated with responding to this solicitation will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this solicitation does not preclude participation in any future IFB, if one is issued. The due date and time for submission of bids is contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will NOT be available. The entire solicitation, including the specification and/or drawings, are available only on the beta.sam.gov IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of all INTERESTED PARTIES TO REGISTER FOR NOTIFICATION UPDATES. ----- ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED ----- Instructions for electronic submission of bids: Due to the current COVID-19 situation, electronic bids will be the only accepted method for submission of bids for this solicitation. Traditional paper bids will not be accepted. Prospective offerors shall contact the 354th Contracting Office via SSgt Zachary Finley at zachary.finley.3@us.af.mil to receive a drop-off code through DoD Safe at https://safe.apps.mil. Since DoD Safe automatically deletes files after 7 days, offerors shall upload bids no sooner than 5 days before bid due date. Type of Award The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract using SEALED BIDDING. The disclosure of magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000�IAW FAR 36.204(g). The acquisition is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 236210, with a small business standard of $36.5M Requirement Eielson AFB, Alaska has a requirement for the following: Work includes replacement of the 2.5 MW diesel blackstart generator at Eielson's Central heat & Power Plant (CH&PP), to include: replacement of radiator, muffler, stack, controls, day tank and related ancillary components; installation of new steel grate catwalks, concrete floor and radiator and muffler foundations; replacement of generator room HVAC system; demo and reconstruction of the existing roof and upper walls of the blackstart generator room; and provision of a temporary blackstartcapable generator for use when needed during construction period See attachments for additional details Distribution of Notice The solicitation will be issued electronically only via the Beta SAM website (www.beta.sam.gov). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors should register at�www.beta.sam.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Site Visit: Due to COVID-19 - No formal site visit will be held.
