Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business vendors. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The West Virginia Air National Guard, Martinsburg, WV has been tasked to solicit for and award the following requirement: Scope: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 2.1 as Government Furnished, to perform annual NFPA hose performance testing (1500ft), annual NFPA fire pump performance testing of (6) fire pumps and annual. Servicing will include the following: Fifteen Thousand (15,000) feet of Hose to be tested in IAW National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1962 Standard for the Care, Use, Inspection, Service testing, and Replacement of Fire Hose, Couplings, Nozzles, and Fire Hose Appliances, 2018 edition.� Six (6) Fire Pumps to be tested IAW NFPA 1911 Standard for Inspection, Maintenance, Testing, and Retirement of In-Service Emergency Vehicles, 2017 edition. Seventeen (17) ground ladders to be tested IAW NFPA 1932 Standard on Use, Maintenance, and Service Testing of In-Service Fire Department Ground Ladders, 2020 edition. The contractor must be thoroughly familiar with and comply with all Federal Regulations as well as state, county, and city regulations for all materials used and the application thereof. The contractor will also be required to abide by all OSHA and base safety and fire regulations. Proposed project will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of all interested parties to compete and perform a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 29 May 2020, 2:00 PM EST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for Government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate whether you were a prime contractor or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
