- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The II MEF Expeditionary Contracting Platoon, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC 28547 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Mack Defense LLC, 7310 West Tilghman Street Ste 600, Allentown, PA, 18106, (Cage Code: 6B8L4) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa has submitted a requirement for mechanical and maintenance troubleshooting training for the Mack Premium Tech Tool, to take place in the vicinity of Kigali, Rwanda. Market research has determined Mack Defense, LLC is the only source capable of providing the required services. Therefore, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from Mack Defense, LLC.� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if timely received, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. RESPONSES MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM CENTRAL EUROPEAN SUMMER TIME ON 8 JUNE 2020 IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
