Description
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR SOLE SOURCE: The National Guard Bureau Operational Contracting Brach received a request for a Sole Source Brand Name requirement for the purchase of Dry Hydrogen Peroxide, and Hydrogen Peroxide Gas (DHP) Technology to kill both Airborne and Surface contaminating microbes in an environment. This Request for Information (RFI) is for market research purposes only and it is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. The requirement is for the Contractor to furnish and install approximately 1500 inline DHP units in the ductwork close to the air diffusers at the Herbert R. Temple Jr. Army National Guard Readiness Center (TARC) located in Arlington, VA. The inline DHP units shall work with input voltage of 120V and be Underwriters Laboratory listed.� The DHPs shall be in such concentrations that it is safe for use in occupied areas.� The system shall provide continuous decontamination of occupied facilities without disturbing normal workflow.� The system shall be effective in reduction of microbial threats such as bacteria, viruses and mold. Effective will be defined as more than 25% reduction in contaminants from the baseline study for air and 45% reduction for surfaces.� The system shall be effective in reduction of cross and recontamination of affected and non-affected areas. �Synexis BioDefense is currently the sole developer of Dry Hydrogen Peroxide, and Hydrogen Peroxide Gas Technology. Any offerors believing they can provide the required DHP Technology other than Synexis BioDefense with all of the features and functions of the requirement described above may provide evidence for consideration. Evidence must support the offeror's claim they can provide this technology. �All qualified sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by this agency. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by May 29, 2020 by 4:00 p.m. (EST).� Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
