- *Disclaimer- This announcement is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposal (RFP).�The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. �Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities to meet requirements in the attached draft SOW.� * In accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1, the FAA is conducting a market survey to determine the competition level to provide technical and administrative support to the Piston Aviation Fuels Initiative (PAFI) program, Piston Steering Group (PSG), FAA Avgas R&D program, and other fuels related activities.� Please review the attached service overview and if interested please provide the following: Current SAM�s Registration Capability Statement Similar work Experience in the following areas: General aviation piston engine and aircraft design, operation, certification and test; Aircraft testing involving fuel evaluation and certification; Fuel Research and Development Programs; and Experience with leading and actively participating in Industry Wide committees such as Unleaded Avgas Transition Rule making Committee (UAT ARC) or ASTM.
