The UV detector standard shall include two detectors: a Working Standard and a Check Standard. The requirements for both detector housings are: 1. The housing must be circular with a 1.500 inch outer diameter. 2. The front surface of the housing forms a reference plane. The detectors must be placed 0.335 inches behind the front surface. 3. The clear aperture of the front surface must be large enough to expose the entire active area of the detector. 4. Must include a cap or cover to protect the detector when not in use. Specific requirements for the Working Standard are: 1. UV damage resistant Silicon irradiance probe with adjustable position detector. Opto Diode Corp. model UVG100 or comparable detector. 2. High precision current-to-voltage preamplifier with gains by thermally stable feedback resistors from 1E+3 to 1E+8 ohms. Specific requirements for the Check Standard are: 1. Spectrally flat, 5 mm, Pyroelectric Detector Probe with two selectable gains: 1 G? and 10 G?. 2. Analog power supply that includes signal output and temperature output BNC connectors. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY This RFI is released pursuant to FAR 15.201(e). It is issued solely for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.
