- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart�12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� W912CN-20-Q-S003 is issued as an invitation to Request for Quotation (RFQ).� The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-05.� This acquisition is a 100 percent small business set-aside.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 711130 � �Religious Musical Groups and Artists�.� The size standard is 12 (millions of dollars).� It is the contractor�s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.���� Description of Requirement:� The Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii, has a requirement for a musician to provide musical leadership for its Protestant Services on Sunday Mornings, and weekly rehearsals on Thursday evenings. �The requested musician must have the ability to play the piano and/or organ, and be intimately familiar with the Protestant Services along with its liturgical requirements.� The musician is expected to lead and select the proper hymns, choruses, and spiritual songs; perform preludes; postlude; offertory; and background for meditation and prayers; that enhances the atmosphere of worship for the particular congregation. �Play prelude 15 minutes prior to designated Worship Service/Ceremony start time and postlude of at least 5 minutes at the conclusion of the Worship Service/Ceremony.� All job duties and personal qualifications must be performed in accordance with the attached performance work statement (PWS).� Scheduled hours of performance for required musician services (Does not include Special/Holiday Mass): Thursday Evening Rehearsals:���� 1800 � 1900 Sunday Morning Services:����� 0845 � 1005 The period of performance shall be for one base year of 12 months, and four 12-month option years.� The period of performance reads as follows: Base Year:� 16 July 2020 to 15 July 2021 Option Year One:� 16 July 2021 to 15 July 2022 Option Year Two:� 16 July 2022 to 15 July 2023 Option Year Three:� 16 July 2023 to 15 July 2024 Option Year Four:� 16 July 2024 to 15 July 2025 *The period of performance is subject to change depending on actual date of award.
