- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a competitive Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number for this requirement is FA2823-20-Q-A006. The Contracting Squadron at Eglin, AFB, Florida, requires a Mobile Antenna Tower. This acquisition is under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented, and the evaluation process and criteria set forth in this solicitation. This procurement will be conducted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to all solicitation requirements, such as terms and conditions, representations and certifications, and technical requirements. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1250 Employees. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. There will be no advance payments. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: CLIN 0001: FFP �Mobile Antenna Tower outlined on TRD.� Delivery 12 months ARO QTY: 1 each DELIVERY ADDRESS: 46 TS/TGBC 305 Choctawhatchee Avenue Bldg 73T, Behind B85 Eglin AFB, FL 32542 SPECIFIC PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS IAW FAR 12.301(b)(1): Specific Instructions: All offerors are required to provide a Firm-fixed price quote in US Dollars. Offerors shall complete the representations and certifications cited below and submit with offer. In accordance with, FAR 52.212-1(b)(4), offerors are reminded that as a minimum, offers must show a technical description of the products being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary, to show that the products meet the technical requirements of the Technical Requirements Document (TRD). Simply restating the elements of the TRD is not enough to determine technical acceptability. Table A-1. Technical Acceptable/Unacceptable Ratings Rating Description Acceptable: Quote clearly meets the minimum requirements of the solicitation. Unacceptable: Quote does not clearly meet the minimum requirements of the solicitation. Basis for Award: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, provides the lowest evaluated price for a product meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards set forth in the specifications. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach. � OFFER EVALUATION: Evaluation of offers will occur using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach with Past Performance. See FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items for evaluation process.
