Description
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to provide information to the United States Census Bureau (USCB) to help determine an acquisition strategy for cybersecurity for the coming decade. The USCB believes industry holds the most current and best practices in these areas impacted by cybersecurity and seeks recommendations on how to best acquire the needed industry knowledge and expertise and achieve benefits in accordance with federal requirements. The USCB intends to leverage industry knowledge and expertise on proven approaches and best practices to achieve the highest level of cyber defense and resilience in accordance with federal and legislative requirements.� The USCB intends to mature an enterprise cybersecurity program to enable a fully informed risk based approach that considers the complex and diverse technology environment in place across various program offices. The objective is to deliver adaptive cybersecurity support services that benefit all technology and business requirements. The USCB�s Office of Information Security (OIS) has responsibility for leading the planning and implementation of cybersecurity requirements at the USCB.� OIS works in collaboration with the various programs of the USCB to ensure the cybersecurity of the USCB networks, information, and information systems used in performance of USCB�s mission.� OIS operates and maintains a number of security applications and platforms with which it fulfills its mission of protecting the USCB IT Infrastructure/Network.
