Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for three (3) HiDANplus Mission computer package with cabling that has been specifically tailored to allow for NSWCCD GFE to be installed within it. The NAICS code is 541512 and the Product/Service Code is 7010. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc. The proposed action is for HiDANplus mission computer packages for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reason: HiDANplus computer packages are solely provided by RTD Technologies. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to RTD Technologies using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than May 28, 2020. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by May 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM EST will be considered by the Government. Any questions must be received via e-mail by May 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
