- An Industry Day for the Middle School Construction and Renovation at Fort Campbell, KY will be held on 28 May 2020 at 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Industry Day will be held virtually and the slides and ProjNet Instructions (for questions) will be posted after the conclusion of the virtual industry day. Contractors planning to attend the event are asked to complete the Pre-registration Form attached to this notice, and return a copy to Josh Westgate at Joshua.K.Westgate@usace.army.mil. A list of participants and interested firms, along with questions and responses from Projnet, will be posted to this notice following the Industry Day. The webex application will open up for participants to log in at 9:30am ET PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is for the construction of a middle school by renovations and additions to convert the existing Fort Campbell High School into Fort Campbell Middle School, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The new construction element is approximately 126,000 SF and the renovation element is approximately 41,000 SF for a total of 167,000 SF. There is also approximately 69,000 SF of demolition work. The project shall comply with current DoDEA 21C Facility Requirements to include general purpose classrooms, gymnasium, auditorium, information center, computer lab, cafeteria/food service/kitchen, supply areas, specialist rooms, music room, art room, learning impaired room, neighborhoods, learning hubs, teacher work rooms, counseling areas, storage, administrative offices, and other required areas for a fully functioning facility and school complex. Project includes related infrastructure such as parking areas, mechanical rooms, delivery areas, storage, and lighting. Site improvements include signage, fencing, paving, landscaping, covered walkways, exterior lighting and utilities. This proposed project is a design-bid-build project. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation Summer of FY 2020. Details regarding the Optional Site Visit will be included in the solicitation. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation when it is posted to http://beta.SAM.gov. SOLICITATION WEBSITE: The official solicitations, when posted, will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found at Beta.SAM website, http://beta.SAM.gov. Paper copies of the solicitations will not be issued. Information regarding the issuance of the project solicitation and proposal submission will be found in the Presolicitation Notice and solicitation documents, when issued, at Beta.SAM. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the following database: System for Award Management (SAM): Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity.
