Description

The Department of State, Office of Acquisitions Management, is requesting quotes from local small business courier/messenger vendors in the immediate Miami, FL area to provide courier services for the Department of State, U.S. Despatch Agency-Miami, FL. These services include pickup and drop off, including wait time, of documentation to and from the U.S. Despatch Agency Office, to customs offices, Miami International airport, Port of Miami, and other locations in the Miami Commercial Zones.�The Department intends to award one�Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to perform�these services. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. For the purpose of this BPA, the Contractor's primary place of performance must be within a twenty (20) mile commute of the U.S. Despatch Agency office in Miami, FL located at: 7789 NW 48th St. Suite 250, Miami, FL 33166.� Questions related to the RFQ are to be submitted via email to KeonTC@state.gov, not later than 12:00pm ET May 21, 2020. The National American Individual Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 492210. Vendor quotes in response to the RFQ, require the submission of supporting documentation to include Technical Experience- as it relates to the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and 3 year minimum of professional courier services experience, and Quality Control Plan- as it relates the PWS and privacy protection. As well as, Past Performance- related courier services and 3 professional references. Technical experience and past performance, when combined, are more important than price; and no single technical factor is more important than price. Quotes, along with the required supporting documentation are to be to be submitted via email to Contracting Officer, Travis Keon, at KeonTC@state.gov, not later than 11:00am ET June 2, 2020.
