- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District is seeking sources for Market Research to support the services listed below for NAICS Code is 561730 for Landscaping Services. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $7.5 million, and the Project Service Code is ZIPZ for Maintenance of Other Non-Building Facilities. Interested parties are sought to provide maintenance service for the South Francisco Bay. There are two sites that need to be maintained for trash and invasive plants. Both sites are located in South San Francisco Bay. Site 1, fill stock piles, is approximately 8.25 acres and is located on USFWS property with drive in access through the Alviso Marina Park during daylight hours, approximately 9am to 6pm. Weeding for the fill stock piles would need to be performed by hand and would involve climbing onto the piles to maintain vegetation at 1 foot or less. Maintenance at the site for trash removal from litter or windblown trash will also be needed to be performed.� Site 2 consists of two lots, approximately 1.13 acres and 0.35 acres in area, and are located on Gold Street. The lots for the Gold Street site would need the same treatment for weeding and maintenance as the other site, though it can be performed through machines (weed whipping). An option will be needed for the Gold street location that disposal of abandoned trash piles will also be performed, should any illegal dumping take place on the property. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary provide to conduct the maintenance services. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought. NO SOLICITATION, OR SCOPE OF SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Potential Offerors having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the described services are invited to provide feedback via email to: james.neal@usace.army.mil All responses will be analyzed in order to determine the appropriate strategy for a potential future acquisition. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential small business sources including certified HUBZone small business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned small business, Veteran-Owned small business, Certified 8(a) small business, Women-Owned small business, etc. Other than Small Business may respond to this notice in the event the market does not indicate significant Small Business interest. The estimated price range for this project is $80,000 - $150,000. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be 1 year. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or around July 2020. An official synopsis citing the solicitation number will be issued on beta.sam.gov and inviting firms to register electronically to receive a copy of the solicitation when it is issued. Firms responding to this sources sought notice, who fail to provide all the required information requested, will not be used to help by the government to make the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this sources sought announcement.
