- Sources Sought Notice # 70Z02320RPGC001 Classification Code: S- Utilities and Housekeeping NAICS Code: 561612 � Security Guards and Patrol Services This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement.� The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified 8(a) contractors that can provide the required services outlined in this notice.� Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service.� Respondents are advised that the United States Coast Guard (USCG) will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this sources sought notice. USCG has a requirement for security guard services at various USCG installations, units, bases and facilities within the United States (CONUS), outside the United States (OCONUS) and U.S. territories within the USCG�s area of responsibility (AOR).� While the general guard services work that is to be performed at each location is the same, the specific requirement for each location vary due to local rules, regulations, procedures, laws and requirements of each installation.� The vast majority of the requirements will include armed guards provided 24 hours, 7 days a week and are defined below: Armed Gate Guard (Checkpoint Screener) at the primary Access Control Point (ACP) enforcing physical boundaries to control access to the facility/installation. Personnel will ensure compliance with the CG standards for physical access and may include all tasks associated with validating sponsorship, identity proofing, vetting and credentialing of all visitors. Additionally, personnel will perform vehicle and individual (employee and/or visitor) screening at the ACP. Armed Mobile Patrol (Roving Patrol) perform hourly interior and exterior roving security patrols throughout the facility/installation, capability to respond to active shooter events should be available as an additional option based on CO discretion. Armed mobile patrol personnel may also be utilized to perform physical access control tasks to assist the armed gate guard. Alarm Monitor (On-site Dispatcher) provides alarm and CCTV monitoring, internal tactical communications with security personnel, and external notifications to local emergency first responders. Personnel may also be utilized to perform physical access control tasks and may be armed or unarmed based on CO discretion. USCG requests that all interested 8(a) companies respond by completing Attachment (1) form, which indicates the location(s) they are capable of performing the required security guard services at. Responses are due no later than Wednesday, June 6, 2020 by 2:00 pm EDT and may be submitted via email to Patricia.S.Willett@uscg.mil.� Please reference this Sources Sought Notice # 70Z02320RPGC001 in the subject line of the email.
