Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Past performance will be considered in the selection of the awarded vendor. The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: For CGC WALNUT renew valves, hoses, hydrostatic test and recharge 12 100LB CO2 Cylinders. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: LINE ITEM 01: � Provide al labor, parts, materials, tools and equipment to attend to remove the twelve 100LB CO2 cylinders, 12 provide new Ansul CV-98 discharge heads, 12 new Ansul syphon/pick up tubes and 12 new Ansul flex bends. The provider will hydrostatically test and recharge the 12 100LB CO2 cylinders and return them to the vessel and install them back into the CO2 system. Certify the system and provide certification documentation. Upon completion of work the system will be left disconnected. � 3.�� The Coast Guard will assist in the removal, crane, rigging, and installation of cylinders. � 4.�� CGC WALNUT is located at U. S.
