Does the supplied crane need to meet Japanese Crane Standards? A:Yes, the crane need to meet Japanese Crane Standards. 2. What is the requested mounting location for the Auxiliary hoist? A: The auxiliary hoist will be located behind and in-line with the main hoist. 3. Will manuals and training provided in English be accepted? A: No, please follow spec. ***THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS WERE RECEIVED*** 1. In reference to specification line item A, 16 ton crane, is any ton above 16 acceptable? � � � � A. crane must meet specifications listed.� 2. Line item B Extendable Jib Length 6.9m, is anything less acceptable? � � � A. crane must meet specification listed, anything less not acceptable. N40084-20-T-0006 PROCUREMENT OF ARMY VEHICLES FOR ZAMA, JAPAN. � This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N40084-20-T-0006 is listed as a competitive request for quotation (RFQ) as U.S. Army Garrison, Camp Zama has tasked NAVFAC Far East Yokosuka, Japan with the procurement of one Rough Terrain Crane and training. � The contract requirements for this items are outlined in Attachment 1, �Specifications � Mandatory Characteristics for the Rough Terrain Crane 16 Metric Ton Capability� Being Procured Under this Solicitation � CLIN 0001: Rough Terrain Crane, Telescoping Boom, Diesel Engine Drive,� 16 Metric Ton capability. Quantity: 1 EA � See Attachment 1 � Specifications for all specs CURRENCY OF QUOTES: Quotations shall be priced only in Japanese yen. Only new original equipment manufacturer (OEM) items may be offered. Reconditioned or used items will not be accepted. All items shall be preserved, packaged, packed, and marked in accordance with the Specifications listed above.� Delivery of CLIN 0001 180 Days ADC. Early deliveries are acceptable. Contractors are responsible for having proper documentation to receive base access to allow for delivery of CLIN 0001 � Rough Terrain Crane. Valid picture IDs for Japanese Personnel includes a driver�s license, which indicates nationality or permanent address, a Passport or Resident Card with picture. Valid picture IDs for non-Japanese Personnel includes a Passport or Alien Registration Card. A driver�s license which does NOT indicate the individual�s nationality or permanent address is NOT considered a valid picture ID. A driver�s license that does not indicate the individual�s nationality or permanent address may be used if accompanied with a Jumin Hyo with permanent address (Honseki chi). Vehicle Pass applicants must carry the Compulsory Automobile Liability Insurance (Jibaisek) and Vehicle Registration sheet (shakensho) to obtain the vehicle pass. Conformed copy is acceptable. Unit is to be shipped FOB Destination and all transportation charges borne by the contractor to deliver unit to DPW, Camp Zama, Bldg. 645. Offerors must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference:� FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors � Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52-212-2, Evaluation � Commercial Items is incorporated by reference.� Addendum to FAR 52.212-2 Para (a) Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quotation is lowest in price and in full compliance with all requirements set forth in this solicitation.
