Description
The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed session resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consists of a 12 month base period with four (4) 12 month option periods for renewal. It is anticipated that an estimated 48 sessions will be needed per year. It is estimated that eight one-hour sessions will be needed every two months. A session is defined as 1 hour. Typically, eight sessions will occur on the same calendar day. Sessions will be performed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Specific days will be subject to a mutual agreement between the Contracting Officer�s Representative and the Contractor. The contractor will be notified in advance of the requested dates of service, types of service, and the number of inmates to be examined. For further description of the services, read the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The contract ultrasound technician shall be fully certified to perform ultrasound procedures by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. He/She must have at least three or more years of experience. Background clearance packets submitted by potential contractor employees shall be accompanied by a certified or photostatic copy of their current certification. The Contractor must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. All equipment and supplies required for the performance of this contract will be furnished by the contractor. The contractor shall provide professional interpretation and reports. Fees for professional services shall be included in the session price. Reports must be in computerized format. Reports must be received within seven days of service, unless abnormalities are noted. FCI Waseca Health Services must be notified of abnormal reports within 48 hours of service. For further description of the services, read the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
