Question and Answers: Question 1: Who should durable medical equipment (DEM) suppliers like our company contact at your facility to gauge interest in our products (you, clinicians, other personnel)? �Answer 1: The U.S. Army Medical Command Office of Small Business Programs is available to assist you, please maximize your research by contacting personnel supporting medical organizations.� Access Website: https://armymedicine.health.mil/Doing-business-with-Army-Medicine.� The MICC YPG�s contracting office does not support medical equipment requirements for any Army organizations. Question 2: How do key decision-makers at your facility want to be contacted by DME suppliers during this pandemic (phone, email, web conference, etc.)?� �Answer 2: �Please access the website at https://armymedicine.health.mil/Doing-business-with-Army-Medicine.� �Additionally, please call the Defense Logistics Agency at 215-737-5372, a phone number available for small businesses that provide medical supplies.��� Question 3: How does the decision-making process for purchasing DME work at your facility?� �Answer 3: The MICC Yuma Contracting Office does not procure durable medical equipment.� Please maximize your market research by utilizing the information above and searching contracting opportunities posted at http://beta.SAM.gov Question 4: I was reaching out to see if we could schedule a capability briefing by phone or via Zoom screen share on our services and capabilities.� �Answer 4: You can contact the MICC Small Business Professional at 760-380-3893 and email at diane.house.civ@mail.mil to share the services and capacity of your business.� Question 5: I wanted to confirm that H&L Environmental Services would like to join the Industry Day and look forward to the date and venue.� �Answer 5: Thank you H&L Environmental Services for your interest in joining MICC Yuma in our electronic industry day presentation.� As a result of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) no future industry day is planned. The Advance Planning Briefing for Industry briefing is now posted. Please note: Electronic Question and Answer Session: We offer an open question and answer session with interested vendors. The question period is open for a minimum of ten (10) calendar days; afterwards the MICC Yuma Contracting Team has fourteen(14) calendar days to post responses to APBI questions. Please submit questions electronically to the point of contacts listed below. Questions are due no later than 20 May 2020 at 12:00 pm PDT. Advance Planning Briefings for Industry (APBI) events are conducted yearly to expand small business vendor awareness of MICC procurements in order to ensure an early, open and meaningful dialogue with industry on a fair and equitable basis. APBI events also provides transparency and mutual understanding of future contract requirements and industry capabilities as well as assists in synchronizing capabilities and resources to ensure Army readiness. Due to COVID-19 concerns, the conduct of physical APBI events has been postponed.� However, in order to comply with regulatory requirements, this year�s APBI will be conducted by electronic means to ensure information is still disseminated while COVID-19 safety measures remain in effect. Please expect Mission and Installation Contracting Command � Yuma Proving Ground�s (MICC-YPG) briefing to be posted no later than 7 May 2020.
