Description

Vertical Transportation Equipment Services. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with recurring and non-recurring work requirements for vertical transportation equipment maintenance and repair at the Naval Support Activity, Crane, Indiana. The contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, and transportation necessary perform maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition and minor construction, inspection, testing, and component replacement of vertical transportation equipment per the manufacturer's original specifications and the requirements of ASME-A17.1 - Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators� at the Naval Support Activity (NSA Crane), Crane, Indiana.� VTEs covered in this procurement include elevators, vertical wheel chair lifts, material lifts, and dumbwaiters.� The contract will be for 12 months with 4 (four) possible 12 month options periods, for a possible total of 60 months.� The decision to exercise an option shall be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer.� The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable proposal based on the evaluation factors in the solicitation.
