- This solicitation has been amended....amendment and new SOW is attached.� The purpose of the amendment is to clarify SOW dated 5 March 2020.� The section under painting Runway 15/33 does not specifically identify the repainting of yellow markings.� The quantities within the estimate and bid schedule do however reflect the performance of this work and contractors whould bid accordingly.�� A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION WITH ANSWERS HAS BEEN ADDED TO THIS SOLICITATION (ATTACHED) NAME: RFI #1 BEFORE AWARD PAVEMENT MARKINGS Solicitation FA6606-20-B-0002 is now available.� The documents have been uploaded on this site.� If you have any question or comments on accessing the solicitation on BETA.sam.gov please call or email Ewa Gosselin. Pre-Solicitation Notice � Project YTPM 20-3001, Maintain Pavement Markings and Rubber Removal, Airfield, Roads and Parking Areas.� The small business size standard applicable to this project is $36,500,000.00 and the NAICS (North American Industrial Classification System) Code for this solicitation is 237310. This project is being solicited as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.�� The solicitation will be issued on or about 13 May 2020 with a bid opening date on or about 23 June 2020.� This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract.� A site visit will be scheduled as part of this solicitation.� REFER TO SECTION L OF THE SOLICITATION FOR MANDATORY PROCEDURES DUE TO COVID-19 (ONCE POSTED).� Performance period will be sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed which includes 30 days on-site work.� The work called for in this contract requires extensive scheduling and coordination because of the daily airfield operations.� The commercial contractors that provide this service will develop work schedules that require flexibility of programming for the clients.� It is in the best interest of the government to schedule work prior to signing the Notice to Proceed.� The estimated cost of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.� This project is not subject to any statutory cost limitation.� There is no Government Furnished Property supplied for this project.� Interested bidders must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM).� Firms can register via the SAM internet web-site at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.� If the bidder has a Joint Venture (JV), the JV must have a valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity.� If at the time of award a bidder is not successfully and actively registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective bidder. The solicitation including the bid package, wage rates, specifications and drawings will be posted at this site for review and download.� All contractors and subcontractors interested in this project must register at this site https://beta.SAM.gov.� It is the offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation.� There will be no other form of distribution for this solicitation other than downloading from this site.� DUE TO COVID-19 Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available for examination at the physical location of WARB.� ****FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT***
