- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #652-16-908 Remodel PET Holding Space Nuclear Medicine The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 652-16-908, to remodel the Positronic Emission Tomography (PET) holding space in two PET recovery rooms 1H-126, and 1H-120 at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, Richmond, VA. General Scope: The Contractor will provide all transportation, material, hardware, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to the remodel PET holding space in two PET recovery rooms 1H-126, and 1H-120, at the Richmond VAMC. Work shall include, but not be limited to: Demolish interior ceiling and floor covering, and walls including alcove built into existing room. Reinstall solid ceiling incorporating existing sprinkler, A/C, lighting, and solid flooring. Install lead shielding in walls to a minimum height of 7 on all four walls and leaded door. Ensure the protective effectiveness of the enclosing barrier by capping, plugging, or wrapping all punctures to lead upon installations. Install 5/8 dry wall to all bared wall and ceiling surfaces with professional smooth finishing, and painting both rooms IAW paint specifications in drawings. Asbestos abatement Inspect and repair floor as necessary to support weight of added lead Estimated construction magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS CODE: 238990 Size Standard: $15.0 Million This solicitation is anticipated to an SDVOSB Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about May 12, 2020. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals.
