ViaSat is the only supplier that can ensure materials remain 100% compatible with currently fielded systems and protect ViaSat proprietary rights for the materials. The authority for soliciting from a sole source is FAR 13.106(b)(1). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a sole source under authority of FAR 13.106-2. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses and/or questions should be directed to Nicole Middleton.
