- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Medora Corporation part of IXOM for solarbees service and maintenance under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) � Only one source. The Government anticipates the award of a five (5) year contract consisting of a 12-month base plus four (4) Option years which may be exercised unilaterally by the Government subject to successful past performance and the availability of current year funding. The total anticipated dollar value is $25,000.00. In 2016, the Keams Canyon sewer lagoon was modified and expanded its capacity which included relining of the Primary Cell, Cell #1 & Cell #2. The expansion includes the addition of two (2) cells, Cell #3 & Cell #4. The Primary Cell, Cell #1 & Cell #2 have the solarbees installed by Medora Corporation when the sewer lagoon was near completion as part of the Keams Canyon sewer lagoon modification / expansion. As the equipment was installed by Medora Corporation, it is best that Medora continue with the maintenance, repair and/or replacement of equipment and/or parts on the installed solarbees. No solicitation is available and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238210. If a firm believes that BIA should not pursue this procurement, it should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement by 4pm ET on 06/08/2020.
