Description

The solicitation and associated information will be available ONLY from the beta.SAM.gov website on-line at https://beta.sam.gov/�and is now known as Contract Opportunities. This is a web based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. The 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard intends to issue an Invitation for Bid to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the Repair of the Fire Suppression in Hangar 395 in Westhampton Beach, NY (Suffolk County). This project is to renovate and repair the existing fire suppression system at Hangar 395. Basis of Award: Bid that conforms to the terms and conditions of the synopsis/solicitation and meets all the requirements outlined in the statement of work, provides the lowest price and is determined responsible in accordance with FAR Subpart 9.104-1. The contract duration is 120 days after Notice to Proceed. This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238220, with a size standard of $16,500,000.00. The magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states �By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees�. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or-about 18 June 2020. The tentative date for the pre-bid conference is on-or-about 9 July 2020 at 10:00AM EST, location will be in solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference. All questions for the pre-bid conference must be submitted by 6 July 2020 via email to fred.rodriguez1.mil@mail.mil. The bid opening date is scheduled for on-or about 22 July 2020.
