Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation shall not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-05 March 30, 2020. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition is 811219�- Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This is a full and open competition. The maintenance agreement purchased must meet the following technical requirements: General Requirements Shall cover unlimited manufacturer approved parts, labor, travel, dispatch charges and accommodation for the maintenance services during the contract period. Service Reports shall be delivered via email to Piper.Hunt@fda.hhs.gov. Shall only use manufacturer made parts or manufacturer certified parts for the service. Shall provide unlimited customer technical phone support during normal business hours. All workmanship shall be warranted for at least 60 days. All technicians must have valid US drivers license for entry through security. Service Requirements Shall provide any needed parts, labor and travel for timely repair (3-7 days). Will include 1 planned preventative maintenance visit per year for all equipment outlined in the price schedule. Will include unlimited corrective repairs. All firmware and software updates must first be approved by the TPOC. Technicians must discuss any problems the customer is having with the instrument. Alert customer to any potential safety issues Certification Requirements The personnel who service the equipment must be OEM certified. No other engineers/technicians/personnel may service this equipment without this certification. The certification must be specific to the equipment being serviced.
