- AMENDMENT TWO - RFQ 36C248-20-AP-1780 The purpose of this amendment is to change the Statement of Need and address questions with answers. 1. The following Statement of Need at page 2, paragraph B is changed from: B. Gallery Wrapped Canvas Attachment B and E, (84 Images Total) 1) Canvas Sizes - a. Attachment B: 18 x 18 (FRAMED: See 3.a. below) b. Attachment E: 20 x 30 (FRAMED: See 3.a. below) to B. Gallery Wrapped Canvas Attachment B and E, (61 Images Total) 1) Canvas Sizes - a. Attachment B: 18 x 18 (FRAMED: See 3.a. below) b. Attachment E: 20 x 30 (FRAMED: See 3.a. below) 2. The following questions are answered with the Government responses: Question 1. Which quantity is correct for gallery wrapped canvas, the one written in the bid (84) or the one listed (61)? Answer: The correct quantity is sixty one (61 EA |� (4 ea) of the 18 x 18 and (57 ea) �of the 20 x 30 . Question 2. Can other images be substituted for the existing selections since Great American Art does not sell or license usage of their images to other art firms? Answer: Substitutes are allowed pertaining to the likeness of the original image as long as they are close to the same concept/theme. The images provided were just to give a direction as to the type of concept theme that was wanted. Question 3. Can a more cost effective way be suggested or quoted for the acrylic pieces rather than the printing on acrylic?� I have been able to provide a different process that is beautiful and sustainable. �Answer: Quotes can be offered that meet or exceed the requirement. Yes, but must meets the VHA artwork guidelines.� Has this process already been utilized in other VA facilities? Question 4. Will the facility be empty when installing? Answer: No. The facility will be occupied during normal business hours. Install would need to be done during business hours and work will have to be accomplished with minimal clinical interruptions. Question 5. Would you share the name of the design firm or designer that made these art selections? Answer: Image designer unknown.
