- The purpose of this FBO posting is for informational purposes. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, VA Healthcare System, 2780 Airport Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43219-1834 and the Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428-9000 has determined that it is in the best interest of the government to award to ITAMAR Medical, Inc. They are located at 3290 Cumberland Club Drive Ste 100, Atlanta, GA 30339. This is an open market sole source procurement per there only being one source per FAR 13.106-1. The contractor ITAMAR Medical, Inc. of has proprietary rights of the Product Code: CS21160XX WatchPATOne Direct and WatchPATOne Direct Services. Itamar Medical�s WatchPATOne using PAT signal and methodology has a strong intellectual property position and sold exclusively through ITAMAR Medical directly to customers in the Government VA and DOD systems.� Services will be for portable sleep studies during COVID 19 Isolation. The Department of Veterans Affairs will provide the address listing to contractor. Contractor will provide direct mail to patient with instructions for the device. Overnight interpretations will be returned to the VA electronically. The doctor will read the sleep study results then discuss with patient. See attached statement of work and justification and approval for details.� All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.� SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS OF SELECT ITEMS FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES ITEM�������������� BRAND/MODEL OR EQUAL������������������������ PASS/FAIL WATCHPAT�� WATCHPATONE DIRECT MINIMUM SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:� It is a diagnostic home sleep apnea test that utilizes the peripheral arterial signal (PAT) It measures up to 7 channels (PAT signal, heart rate, oximetry, actigraphy, body position, snoring and chest motion) via three points of contact. Within one -minute post-study the raw data is downloaded and auto-scored identifying all types of apnea events.� Sending the HSTs to�� patients� home, providing 24-hour assistance, also will provide help with scoring the studies.� These disposable systems will allow the VA to decrease the waiting time and will ease the veterans that live far away by having them shipped to their homes.
